  • Iowa, Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter (added 189, total 489).  This completes all photos that I have for this cemetery.  (Note:  these last photos were previously added to the site, but not reported here.)

Additional information about Iowa soldiers in the Spanish-American War. 

Information on the early military history of Iowa has been added pertaining to the Mexican War of 1847-1848.

All are found in the Table of Contents from Volume 6 of the Roster and Record of Iowa Soldiers (1911).

Completion of Nebraska for the  1883 Pension List.  Addition of Arapahoe and Bent Counties, Colorado and a start to Boulder County, Colorado for the 1883 Pension List.
